Born on January 23, 1965, Amir Adnan is a descendant of the Royal Dhaka Nawab family and the great-grandson of Nawab Sir Salimullah, who was the founder of the All India Muslim League. He is a prominent alumnus of the prestigious Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Karachi. These roots are reflected in his designs, which are a fusion of traditional and contemporary aesthetics.

Pride of Performance Award Winner
Amir Adnan's talent and contributions to the fashion industry have been recognized with the Pride of Performance Award in 2006, one of the highest civil awards bestowed upon a civilian by the President of Pakistan. Amir Adnan's work has been worn by international stars such as Camryn Howard, who wore Amir Adnan to the world premiere of Marvel’s Black Panther, and at the Golden Globes, for which he was declared the best dressed. Global icons such as Neiko Alexander, Keith Sweat, Iqbal Theba, and Don Benjamin have also donned Amir Adnan's creations. In 2004, Amir Adnan was even assigned to prepare the sherwanis for Mr. Vajpayee on the recommendation of the minister-in-waiting for the Indian prime minister, Shaukat Aziz.
