The fabric of tomorrow: If we are to solve the challenges of tomorrow, we need to see the opportunities that lie in front of us today. With Pakistan producing nearly a million tonnes of textile waste a year (International Trade Administration) it is our duty to ensure that each of us is doing our part in protecting the resources of our country. The fabric of tomorrow represents a possible solution to close the gap that exists in a product’s life cycle – between recycling and production of new material – making it fully circular. Our towels are made with 70% recycled cotton, saving 4.75 kWh of energy, 2562 liters of water, and 1.2 CO2(KG) emissions. In our case the cotton is pre-consumer waste and entirely local hence creating value from a waste product that would otherwise end up in landfills or incinerators. We are not saying that we have reached the goal, but we ask you to join us in taking the steps to get there. - Amir Adnan Living
